One of the most exciting and beneficial aspects of the courses on offer in the School is the option of taking one or more periods of integrated, work-based training. We realise how competitive the graduate employment market is, so you need that edge:- the qualifications beyond a good degree award and the practical and 'real world' experiences which ensure your employability after graduation.

Our placements are based locally, nationally and internationally. We regularly place students for periods of 6, 9, or 12 months into employment in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and other South Pacific Countries. We have also sent students out to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea, China and Japan, Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt and Madagascar.

Many placements are salaried, and some are very well paid, although some of the opportunities which may provide you with the best experiences and professional training are not. Grants and other financial support are always possible, and in many cases we can help our students to get most or all of their placement expenses covered by awards, sponsorship and scholarships.

If you would like to include a placement with your studies, contact one of our Placement Officers.
